More Than Wellness

Niva Island Wellness & Gifts is the story of a mother and daughter brought together by love, culture and a shared vision.

I was born in Fiji, where I grew up surrounded by the warmth of family, vibrant traditions and the natural beauty of the islands. Fiji taught me the importance of community, kindness and taking time to appreciate life's simple moments.

My daughter, Niva, was born in Australia. Although she has grown up in a different country, she has always been connected to her Fijian heritage through our family, our traditions and our love for the islands that continue to inspire everything we create.

Niva's journey began earlier than expected. Born prematurely, she faced challenges from the very beginning and today lives with additional needs. Like many families, our path has included moments of uncertainty, learning and resilience. Through it all, one thing has remained constant—our belief that every person has unique strengths, talents and the ability to make a meaningful contribution.

That belief became the foundation of Niva Island Wellness & Gifts.

Rather than focusing on limitations, we chose to focus on possibilities. We wanted to create a business where Niva could develop confidence, learn new skills and build a future that celebrates her abilities. Today, she is involved in the creative journey of our business, from product ideas and presentation to packaging, gifting and sharing the joy our products bring to others. Every new experience helps build her confidence, independence and sense of achievement.

As a Chartered Accountant and business professional, I bring years of commercial experience to the business. Niva brings creativity, curiosity and a genuine love for making people smile. Together, we are building a family business that reflects our values of kindness, inclusion, resilience and purpose.
